Gettelfinger is an Idiot

There, I said it. This guy is a complete moron. God bless the Republicans in the Senate.

One of the things the Senate Republicans are asking the UAW to do is make wage concessions so that their wages are more in line with those of workers at Toyota and Honda plants in the US. Gettelfinger, (Mr. President of the UAW) wants to make no wage concessions. The top people at these plants make upwards of $70 an hour. That is $140,000 a year! At Toyota and Honda they make more like $44 an hour. You don't have to be a genius to notice who makes a higher quality product. They should be making LESS than the guys at Toyota and Honda. Mr. Gettelfinger just wants things to stay the same and the taxpayers to subsidize the failing companies which employ his members.

In the same interview he says the Auto Makers won't survive January without government help. This guy wants our tax dollars to hold the wages of UAW workers artificially high until the companies that employ the people he is defending go under. I would like to see how popular he is with the UAW members when they are waiting in bread lines. This guy knows the automakers are doomed, yet he himself is a key component in that destruction.

Shame on you Mr. Gettelfinger. You are helping NO ONE! You are a whiny child. I don't know how you sleep at night.
