Cash For Clunkers

Are you anywhere close to as sick of hearing about Cash For Clunkers as I am?



"Your credit approval is guaranteed!"

i.e. The government is subsidizing consumerism in order to make it look like our economy is healthy when it isn't.

The government is putting a floor under prices temporarily which is a HUGE waste of your tax dollars and will fail ultimately.

Oh, by the way.....since this is a government program you are paying for it with an increased tax bill!

Oh no, I take that back....the guy who was providing your job is paying for the new car you can't afford with his new tax bill and he will be laying you off as a result!

But yeah - Cash For Clunkers is a great idea!

THINK PEOPLE - THINK! Or is that too much to ask?

I know Diana Olick can be a bit abrasive, but I tend to like her because she speaks the truth. So far this hasn't gotten her fired from CNBC, though I doubt she is one of corporate's favorite employees. This is one of her better posts:

Is This The Week?

I am thinking perhaps this is the week we get a large correction, or at least the beginning of one. Either way, I hope to finally make some $!
