Jim Chanos has been right on for the last three years. His insights about the consequences of getting rid of mark-to-market are correct. By the way, this recent rally is not about Geitner's plan, as the press would have you believe. It is about the hope that mark-to-market will be suspended on April 4th. I do not believe it will.
